Your Health

Your health – physical, cognitve, emotional – is yours to protect and take care of. To do so, a basic and scientific understanding how your body works in health and in sickness is essential.  Your Health aims to do so through presentations and discussions on a monthly basis.

Health topics focus on 2 areas: (1) cornerstones for maintaining good health and thus prevent preventable diseases, such as nutrition, exercise, sleep, stress management – life style behaviors, (2) common diseases – symptoms, diagnosis, risk factors, treatment/management, such as cardiovascular diseases, hypertension, diabetes, depression, among others. Members are encouraged to suggest specific topics of their interest for discussion.

The meetings are hosted by different members at their homes, usually on the fourth Friday of each month, from 10am-11:30am.   Please check the monthly Preview newsletter for details.
