See you at the SMAK Fall Hayride on October 14th.

Hi Ladies, hope you’ll join us for another dance-on-the-tables-til-the-cows-come-home moms night out, hosted by SMAK. Uh, OK, just kidding. We’ll be the well-mannered girls at the Mayfield Bakery this Thursday, August 30th at 7:45pm. RSVP to kim@winkelmayer.com!!

A special thanks to Ronna and Bernie for hosting such a lovely evening for the SMAK ladies. Art, desserts, drinks and Stanford women. What could be better!?

We hope you have lined up your sitters for Thursday, May 10th. One of our members has opened up her lovely home to host a special mom’s night. Partners are certainly welcome, too! We’ll mix-n-mingle amid some truly fine art. Desserts and drinks will be served. RSVP soon, so we can plan accordingly. There is no cost for this event. To receive the official Evite, please email kim@winkelmayer.com. Or join our SMAK email list at groups.yahoo.com/group/SMAKinfo/.

Join us Tuesday, April 24, 2012 at 3:45pm, at the Cantor Arts Center Auditorium. We will have a brief SUWC meeting at 4:00pm to elect new officers.

After the meeting, guest speaker, Dean Charles Junkerman, Associate Provost, Dean of Continuing Studies, and President of the Stanford Historical Society will speak on A Biography of Stanford Sandstone: From Greystone Quarry to Stone River and lead us on a walking tour of Stone River at 5:00 pm.

Mark your calendars for Tuesday, May 15th at 2:00pm. Molly Agras will graciously host us again this year in her lovely home and gardens. In addition to delicious desserts and tea, you will be treated to a very special show. Members of our SUWC will display their own artistic creations and crafts, including paintings, needlework, jewelry, quilting, travel sketching, etc. Invite a guest to come with you to enjoy the spring air and pleasant surroundings for an afternoon to remember. Contact Joy Scott by May 4th to arrange your part in the show. Contact Joy at joywscott@yahoo.com.

SMAK (along with SCRA) hosted a superb, albeit, soggy egg hunt and potluck brunch at SCRA. Thanks for braving the elements, everyone. Click to see photos!
